Water Operator
Denison
Municipal
Utilities
(DMU)
is
accepting
applications
for
a
Water
Operator
position.
The
individual
selected
for
this
position
will
perform
all
aspects
associated
with
water
treatment
plant
&
lab
operations,
distribution
system
maintenance/repair and equipment operations and maintenance.
Qualifications
include
high
school
diploma
or
GED,
the
ability
to
acquire
a
State
of
Iowa
Grade
II
Certification
in
Water
Treatment
and
Distribution,
possess
a
valid
State
of
Iowa
Driver’s
License
and
the
ability
to
obtain
a
valid
Class
B
State
of
Iowa Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-B).
This
is
a
full–
time
position
with
an
excellent
benefits
package.
Work
hours
are
7
AM-4
PM
Monday-Friday.
With
weekend
on-call
rotation.
Pre-employment
drug
screening
and
post-offer
physical
required.
