The consumption charge is per 1,000 gallons of water consumption each month. The consumption charge will not be charged on the water consumption for outdoor water use if a separate meter is installed to measure this usage. In the case of multi-family dwell-ings with a single water meter a $6.56 charge per apartment will be assessed.

In the case of more than one business on a water meter a $6.56 charge per business will be assessed. Those businesses which discharge waste at a greater strength than normal domestic waste water are subject to additional charges.
Payment of Bills
Bills are to be paid within twenty (20) days after the billing date. Bills not paid within twenty (20) days are subject to an administrative charge of one and one-half percent (1.5%) of the delinquent bill. One late payment per year will be allowed with no adminis-trative charge.
